Review by hotel critic
Centrally located in TVM, it allows for easy access to the city's attractions, which I appreciated as someone who enjoys exploring local ecosystems, much like my diving adventures back in the Bahamas. The rooms were spacious and equipped with effective air conditioning-an absolute must for a comfortable stay. I particularly liked the rooftop pool and the restaurant, where the breakfast buffet was plentiful and satisfying. It felt refreshingly casual, with nice views to boot. The staff, including Lekha and Athul, were incredibly attentive and friendly, adding a personal touch that enhances the experience but doesn't take away from the hotel's professionalism. On-site car hire and tour assistance made planning day trips hassle-free, which is always a plus. While it may not compete with plush beachfront resorts, the amenities-flat-screen TVs, wi-fi, and 24-hour reception-offered significant value for the price. If you're after a budget-friendly yet comfortable stay, Residency Tower is worth considering.
